It was character day at school so my cute littles dressed up as book characters. Evelyn didn’t participate in spirit week at all so I’ve been giving her a hard time about having no spirit. Blakely was TinkerBell, Kirra Was Cindy Lou Who and Ruth was the Mad Hatter.
Now they are all out of school for a two week Spring Break! Yay. Following Spring Break they will miss a couple more days for our Cali trip. Porter will be visiting his cousin Emerson all next week. We are so excited for him to be able to go to Texas. Everyone loves Sarah’s house!
Amos is feeling great and the swelling in his face is going down. A good couple weeks without chemo and he really seems better. We will find out Wednesday if he is actually doing better or if his cancer growth is surging again.
I spent more time on Great Aunt Honey’s case today still with no answers about her mystery man but my dad pointed out that her husband was the informant for her death so he was there.
The more I dig the more bizzare findings, inconsistencies and questions come up about the entire family. For example, the gravestone and the death certificate death dates for Honey are more than a year apart.
I also found records of her parent’s divorce even though they were still living in the same house. Later it seems they reconciled since he helped her through the cancer and the death cert. showed they were married.
Some day I will need to talk to Great Grandma Mann about randomly changing the spelling of her name and her kid’s names all the time. This really makes genealogy difficult. I was thinking that over Spring Break my kids could help me sort it all out and we can make a cool timeline.
