Every day with my daddy has been a treasure. He turned 83 today and we are sad that we have to send him home to Texas tomorrow. At least he will be here for Kirra’s school-wide spelling bee in morning. He has helped her study constantly. He fits in as part of the family and is always serving.
Porter and I took him to The Olive Mill for lunch.
Tonight we cheered on Kirra at her last basketball game. They tied again but Kirra was awesome. Grandpa was chanting “MVP” on the way out.
Amos gave a beautiful family night lesson, Porter made some delicious dinner and we even had a pinata for our goodie pot/game. Great day that we will always treasure!
