Amos went to work with no water and no pain pills today. He normally drinks a gallon of water a day. I offered to bring it to him but he said he would just use the drinking fountain. It’s really hard to take Myralax with a drinking fountain and he didn’t bring any pain meds. He said it was a self-correcting error but I felt so bad for him. It’s scary to watch how intense the pain can get even while on the patch. They call it breakthrough pain.

I got him an appointment for later this week to see if the home care offered in our area is going to work for his situation. We should know when they come for a consult on Thursday.

My self-correcting error for the day was saying yes to my 11 year old who desperately wants to have a garage sale tomorrow. She convinced her sisters to organize all their stuff to sell and show me all their hard work before asking so I couldn’t say no. I have lots of things I’d like to clear out of the house so I agreed. After a ton of organizing and cleaning and moving furniture, we are all exhausted. This is harder than I remember.

The kids all started Jujitsu summer camp today and they loved it. They can’t wait to go back to the Acosta’s studio tomorrow.
