Tonight was a little crazy with some sad news that caused a last-minute change to the trip to California that we were preparing for this week. I can’t really discuss any details but now our trip will be March 27th instead. We are just happy it’s still going to happen and we think it’s cool that it landed on Jesse’s birthday. Jesse is my niece who passed away when she was 7. I miss that girl so much.

I’m not sure what will happen with Amos’s chemo that we already canceled this week. I have a feeling he doesn’t want to get back on the chemo schedule for Wednesday even if he could. We will call his doctor tomorrow to figure something out that works with our new travel plans.

We got the phone call about the change right before Family Home Evening and Amos had us stay focused on Ruthie’s lesson before making all our calls and getting all the plans changed. That was difficult for me but he was right; Family Night is more important. Keeping the “non negotables” as first priority always brings blessings.
