Labor day olympics

Amos was up at 4:30 am on this lovely Labor Day. Since he couldn’t go back to sleep he decided to put together the shed. Porter went out to give him a hand.

I’m so thrilled to have the junk cleared off the back porch.

For the past 5 years we have had some pretty awesome family competitions for Labor Day. It has become a fun Abplanalp tradition. We were having some difficulty coming up with events that will work for Amos this year but we had a blast! We know by next year dad will be back and tougher than ever.

It looks like Kirra was the big winner today on the medal count placing top 3 in every event!

Blakely told me that she wished it could be today forever. She then changed her mind because grandpa and Aunt Sarah will be here from Texas tomorrow and she can’t wait to see them.
