LDS General Conference today was exactly what we needed to renew and sustain our testimonies of Christ, His love for us and our roles in Heavenly Father’s plan for His children. The beautiful, timely messages and music stirred our souls and lifted each member of our family. We truly “are that we might have joy” no matter our trials or circumstances.

Kirra had a burning desire to do indexing between sessions today. Porter helped her get a batch going. After she finished Porter gave her a big hug and said, “Look, sucessfully sumbitted. You are an indexer!” #joy

We believe the promises of God. He will wipe away all the tears from our eyes and help our suffering pass through us to sanctify us so that we may be refined by it. We don’t have to wait until our trials are over to feel or recognize joy. We surely feel that joy today.
