We were all a little worried but Porter finally found a date for his 16th birthday tomorrow.  😂  He told me if I posted anything about him needing help finding a date yesterday he would delete my Facebook account. Thankfully I don’t need to come to his rescue because he got it done. I wouldn’t be doing my job as a mom if I didn’t embarrass him a little.

Just being outside for a few minutes from one air conditioned place to the next was crazy hot today. Porter said today reminded him of a day in second grade when he was at recess waiting to go into his classroom and it was so hot that he started crying.  😭

I can’t believe they cancelled flights because of heat. I hope that doesn’t happen Wednesday when Evie and I fly out.

We love ❤️ having aunt Missie here. She took us to see Cars 3 for Ruthie’s birthday and is just the best!

Our birthday 🎉 girl has had a fantastic day of celebrating with her family. I owe her a “friend party” next year because I couldn’t manage friends with so many other things going on.  Right now she is making her own Birthday cake from scratch. 🎂  She loves to bake. 

Amos is home but said he can’t imagine eating even a delicious birthday meal. He is really struggling with nausea so we dug out a prescription he had for that while he was on chemo. I hope it helps before it’s cake time.

Tomorrow is the big day people.  It’s been worth the wait. Watch live at 8/7c. Evie will be live tweeting with the East Coast responding to fans there. This is going to be crazy but awesome. Thank you all for supporting her and helping us get here. #dreambig #agt #evieclair #teamamos
