I’ve said before that this is not a political blog. I know you all know my political mind because of things I post outside this blog, but I want to share a song with you that will help explain how I feel about this election. My sweet niece who is leaving for a mission in Russia soon wrote this. Just listen to these inspiring lyrics. I love you all and if I have offended any of you please forgive me. I will never let an election come between us. We have been asked by the leaders of our church not to become involved in the meanness of this election. We know better. There are “hands to be held and hearts to be unbroken” rather than people to tear down who don’t agree with us. If you have been unkind to someone over this, I challenge you to reach out to them today and lift them in some small way.
Next is some exciting news for my Cinematic Pop group. Our orchestration is being recorded right now by the London Symphony Orchestra and we will be recording the vocals in Arizona once our director returns from London. We recorded with the London Symphony before as Spire Music for a few sacred albums. It’s still mind boggling to be collaborating with the most well-known orchestra in the world.
The kids are back in school today. I am missing them already. Evie sent in another requested video this morning to the casting director of America’s Got Talent. He loves this one and is going to present Evie to the executives for final approval at their next casting meeting on the second week of November. We will keep you updated as long as we can.
This is a big week for Amos. He has CT scans on Thursday and we find out Friday what will happen next….surgery, radiation … hopefully anything but more chemo.
