Today’s news: Evelyn has a cyst that will need to be surgically removed. When I messaged Amos today he replied “When it rains it pours! Tell her daddy loves her.” I was just thinking this morning how blessed we have been that we haven’t had much illness in the house for the past 6 months and Amos hasn’t caught any kind of virus. That is a miracle to me so if we have to deal with broken bones and cysts, we can handle that.
I’m sad because Evelyn won’t be able to play piano or guitar for a little while since the surgery will be on her wrist. At least we know what we are doing for fall break next week — more fun waiting around at the hospital. We are professional hospitalers by now.
Because of this news, we will release the pop song she just finished as a single rather than hold it for the EP. It will be available on iTunes, Amazon and everywhere else in a couple days. Evie was so excited when she heard how good her new single turned out. Our audio engineer, Stephen Moyer, is easily the best around. We’ve been to a lot of recording studios but nothing compares to his creativity or the precision and care he takes with each song. We LOVE him so much. You’ll see what I mean when you hear her new song.
My whole family has used Stephen for many years now. I posted a link today for a free download containing 13 sacred songs written and produced by our family . We would love you all to have them and share them freely with missionaries who may be serving and in need of church music to listen to. I think Stephen engineered all or most of them.
Amos’s body is deteriorating more and more with each round of chemo. His energy only seems to be available when he is magnifying his calling as bishop. Tonight is family home evening and it is Amos’s turn to give the lesson. We are all looking forward to it. Daddy’s lessons are the best!
